I am a photographer/writer and artist foremost but alas have had to work for a living as my early art career hit a downward spiral when all my written and painted work was destroyed in a house fire. I haven't been able to paint since. I have tried and I freeze. I think because of the pressure to be as good as I was, so given the people, I am regularly exposed too, I trained in mental health and care as a life in for a veteran from the army. I am still writing though, I have re-written the ten chapters of the latest book I had been working on when the fire happened and as we rebuild have been working on it. I also have two published books but they are in the equine care sector.... I know it can be confusing, hey I am doing it and it confuses me, I have had a lost of career changes and misstarts and am trained in a number of different industry sectors from Horses to publishing to veteran care and mental health. But make no mistake, other than been a 23 year veteran of a serviceman serving his country I am not a veteran in the sense of having enlisted myself. Although I do like to point out and think it is fair to do so, that when one person serves, so does all the immediate family, we are subject to all the same rules and whims that the army likes to place on its serving members and in that sense yes we do serve. talahorse to robbiegraham88: Hey Robbie, Just wanted to let you know I am still around.
