I'm a 59 year old male with 1 daughter and 3 grandchildren. I enjoy cool night walks, video gaming.

The_13th_T: Thank you Angel for the well wishes. I've been out of the hospital since Jan. 14, and it is taking me a while to get back on my feet. Always glad to have good friends like you behind me sweet woman.
The_13th_T: I would like to wish all my friends a very Happy New Year. For me, I'm still in the hospital due to a positive result to a blood test for the infection that landed me in the hospital in the first place. I'm here until further notice as they are testing for toxicity levels in my blood. There is a possibility of my going home in two weeks, but I will not know until they tell me I'm okay to go home. So enjoy yourselves tonight, make sure you're responsible enough to get home if you are out, and may you all make it a safe and wonderful night.

The_13th_T in reply to Jukesy Momma: They put a PIC line in my arm and I'm being fed antibiotics twice a day. They give it to me at 5:00 a.m and p.m.. Because of the fact that they have to check my blood every couple of days, I'm stuck in the hospital until the infection is gone. Thank you for the blessing and All the best in 2019.
Jukesy Momma: Wow 13th, My Mom was in hospital for a week and then released with picc line in her arm and a pump for antibiotics, like I said, I drove her back n forth every other day to get it refilled.
The_13th_T: I got some good news and some bad news this morning. The bad news is I will be in the hospital until at least next Tuesday. I'm still not totally mobile yet, but I will not give up.
The good news is that as of this morning, I have completed my antibiotic treatment. It will be the last time I have to put up with being woken up at 6:00 a.m. to get plugged in.
The_13th_T: Today is a good day for me, as for the first time in a while, I have motivation to work on getting home sooner. With the workout I went though, and the fact I was able to walk back to my room (with the help of a walker), I have felt that I have accomplished something good today. I will keep you all informed on how I am doing and when I might be released. At the moment, my release date is December 27th.
The_13th_T: I'm finally back online though I'm not going to be home for at least a few weeks. I had been in the hospital since November 12th with an infection in my left knee. After a few weeks there, now I have been moved to a rehab hospital to rebuild my stamina and to get me able to look after myself.
smileyLiisa: the 13th t . Hi everyone, it's me, Edward. I'm writing this on Liisa's computer. She has been nice enough to bring hers to the hospital so I can respond. thank you for the well wishes. I've been in the hospital these last few weeks. I will be heading to St. Joseph's for physio once a bed becomes available. They scoped the left knee and cleared some fluid from it. Looking forward to getting back online soon.
The_13th_T: Sometimes you can just tell when someone is trying to scam you out of money. I got a call this morning saying that there was an unauthorized purchase on my Visa card. There was a $300 purchase on ebay. Even I could tell it was a scam. First of all, they called me @ 6:52 a.m. (EST). Second, I know Visa doesn't call for purchases. Third and most important, I don't have a Visa card.
The_13th_T: Does anyone else enjoy jumping though government hoops? If you do, would you like to take over for me. I'm getting sick and tired of it.
The_13th_T: The definition of frustration: Living on the sixth floor on an apartment complex and watching a flock of Canada Geese fly by at eye level. Yes I do know that hunting Canadas are illegal, but still.
The_13th_T: I would like to wish all the dads out there a Happy Father's Day and a special wish to all the dads watching over us.
The_13th_T: Was at the Dr's office today for a checkup. Things went not too bad, but need to go for some blood tests and arrange for a cortisone shot for the right knee. This should help me get though the summer, but still need to lose 100 lbs. or more before they can replace the knee. Looking forward to having my diet controlled so I can lose the weight...….not.
