ThngsThtGoBzzzzz: Good Morning All, trying to price out some fermenting crocks to sell for dad. #1 is a Western Stoneware 1 gallon whiskey jug, #2 is a Macomb 5-6 gallon crock with lid, perfect condition, #3 is a Robinson 10 gallon crock, also with a lid, and a slight crack, tho it does not go all the way thru, any ideas?? I already tried Ebay, most of those aren't anything like these.............
Sunny B Blessed: I have a collection of crocks, but I wanted to downsize. So I took all the ones I wanted to get rid of, put them all together, took pictures of them all together, and then separately, and I sold them as a "lot" on Craigslist. Took a while, but someone finally gave me my price (and I gave them a pretty good deal). I think with the holidays coming up, someone is going to want to buy them as a gift.
Sunny B Blessed: Farm house decor is really hot right now, and people use those crocks as planters and other things.
This was some of the verbiage I used in my ad.
Lot of six stoneware crocks. This price is for all of them together. The tallest crock is 17 inches tall. Great for farm house and country decorating. Joanna Gaines (of Fixer Upper on HGTV) would love to us these to decorate a home!
