Woodstock_: This morning, I called the Maintenace office to request a sick day because wasn't feeling well and that I would be in tomorrow. I just had to escape the workplace bullsh*t for my own self-care.

Another teacher is leaving the school district because of new policies and the administration. That's five over a month period. I see changes at work that aren't good coming down the pike. That tells me a change is needed. I'm thinking of reapplying with a university. It means relocating but only 30 miles outside of town. I asked the magic 8 ball and it replied, " Most Likely." In the meantime just keeping my head down and staying away from conflict. I hope you had a great day too!.

Woodstock_: Lawrence is just getting expensive anymore but in Kansas because of the cost of living here. It's a cool town with all kinds of venues downtown. Maybe I should research a little more on location, but a move is in order soon.

Etymology:

Elohim
a name of God in the Bible, c. 1600, from Hebrew, plural (of majesty?) of Eloh "God" (cognate with Allah), a word of unknown etymology, perhaps an augmentation of El "God," also of unknown origin. Generally taken as singular, the use of this word instead of Yahveh is taken by biblical scholars as an important clue to authorship in the Old Testament, hence Elohist (1830; Elohistic is from 1841), title of the supposed writer of passages of the Pentateuch where the word is used.

Woodstock_:
So, the district held a morning breakfast at the high school. I caught up with the head custodian and ask how i was and working with "J-,,," I said ." ummm," and told her what he over graduation and what i said to him, and he takes pictures of broken toilet seats and dirty bathrooms from his phone sending them to the principal at home. She told me that he was at the high school once and caught him crying over a girl who was involved with another dude and sent a three-page suicide note to her, & the custodial director. The girl l was fired for theft and now works for the State Hospital. I told her that he says the reason for his transfer was she fantasized about him and couldn't handle it because she's married. She was like " what the fuc-.. Ha! " She's leaving at the end of the school year because she's fed up with the district policy and being used for the director's dirty work. We're minus five teachers in 2 weeks 'cuz their fed up with the district for being treated like crap and when the kids act up nothing happens to them. No disciplinary action is taken, I hope you had a great day, too !

Woodstock_: A coworker disagreed with an option given to me by the Maintenace director with not having to work graduation Saturday. night. since I live out of town. He kept quoting " it's mandatory and laughed. " I double dared him to call the director and he did just that. After speaking with my director he said he wouldn't ask but he was shorthanded and told him that it wasn't a problem. I told my coworker that if he ever pulls a stunt like that again I'll give him a ":mandatory" punch in the mouth! He keeps distant from me and haven't said a word to him in three days. Monday, we got a new Lead and he seems to be a pretty good guy. I leave him updated notes of what's going on with summer renovations, what teachers are changing rooms, etc. He says that he likes that and shows he has a thinker on board. Our new rumba vac is awesome! I set free in the morning and picks up so much dust and lint that I empty it two or more times after an hour. It gets more stuff than our stand-up vacuum., This little gizmo was a bargain for $25 bucks when most go for a $100 dollars or more. I hope everyone e has a great rest of the week too !

Woodstock_: The motif of the Cosmic Egg giving way to the birth of everything is evident in creation myths spanning various cultures, including Egyptian, Babylonian, Orphic, and Indian traditions, among others. The World Egg, also known as the Cosmic Egg, encapsulates a potent and primal life force within its elliptical form. Revered as a symbol of creation across global mythologies, from the Celts to the Hindus, Egyptians to Greeks, Phoenicians to Polynesians, and beyond, it stands as a testament to humanity's enduring fascination with the mysteries of creation and the power of life itself.

Woodstock_: I worked overtime last weekend at the school and treated my daughter for lunch at I-HOP. Being Sunday, the food was ok and the place was packed for a Sunday. The seating was rather cramped. Next time we're going to Perkins where the seating is more spread out. That's a pretty good family restaurant. The day was clear going to work but under a tornado watch around 11pm. I was part way thru my shift when the power cut out because of a blown transformer luckily the released us early. The drive home was fine with U being the only car on the road that's normally the case for me and like it that way. I drove thru heavy rain but the lightning helped to see the road and fortunately no deer waiting to jump out in front of me. I hope everyone had a great weekend too! .

Woodstock_: I'm reading "The Lost Realms" by Zecharia Sitchin. Te fourth book in his Earth Chronicles series. Sitchin The book begins by exploring the Spanish conquistadors’ quest for El Dorado, the legendary city of gold. Instead of finding gold, they encountered inexplicable phenomena in the New World. (i.e.) .. massive stone edifices constructed in remote and inaccessible regions, intricate carvings describing events and places half a world away, and great monuments forged with impossible skill and unknown tools. And rs the long-hidden secrets of lost civilizations of the pre-Columbian Americas. the mysterious figures known as the “bearded gods of the golden wand.” These beings are believed to have brought civilization to the Americas millennia before Columbus.
Their presence raises questions about their origins, purpose, and influence on the ancient cultures of the Americas. Extraterrestrial Connections: linking the conquistadors’ search for El Dorado to extraterrestrials who had explored the region for gold long before.
These extraterrestrial visitors may have interacted with ancient civilizations such as the Olmecs, Aztecs, Mayas, and Incas.
