2017 & the preceding

My Son has Autism ( he is 23 as of Jan/18, but has a social interaction & self care capacity of an 8-10 yr old). My mother has a brain tumour (acth secreting pituitary adenoma) which has given her Cushings disease. I have been the primary, informal carer for my Mum and formal carer of my Son. My Mum had a stroke on April 17,2016. She was transported by helicopter to a hospital 2hrs from where we live. I began staying in that town at the time for the 1st 2-3 mths. We nearly lost her in the 1st 2 wks. Mum was at last getting a bit better. She has started to finally mostly be able to swallow properly but can't sit very well or use her right side limbs. Mum had then been transferred to the local hospital after this as of [ 28/6/16] ( about 25 min from our home), but the medical staff decided to move her into an "Aged Care " facility. Her physical inabilities are such now, that she is categorized as being "Unsafe" to be allowed to be in her own home. They then transferred her to another regional hospital , about 62km one way from us, while waiting to put her in an aged care facility. I'm still fighting for equipment, visits from physiotherapists & occupational therapists & speech therapists. As from Tuesday 24th of August (2016), my Mother was transferred to an aged care facility, 20min from us. I am now my Mother's E.P.A. My son and I had recently enrolled in TAFE which is like a tech college. The closest one that will accept disabled students is 2hrs from where we live. We attended a 1 day a week class there, from 10.30am til 4.30pm. It was a 6mth course that ended on Dec 9. From January 25th/17 he was back @ TAFE, my son started Cert111 in Business Administration. I wasn't studying alongside him this year, but I was close by the campus. He couldn't resume in semester 2 but did Art for 1 term July to September. Don't know what we will study in 2018. Our life is a very different one. I'm not here for cheap thrills & sex chat.
